This week In Preschool & Lower Elementary,
CNX Kids learned: We can show love by helping others!”
This Sunday, CNX preschool and lower elementary classes combined to kick off our yearly food drive.  After hearing the story of Jesus feeding 50oo from John 6: 1-13, we discussed what it means to be hungry and how we can show love by helping others who are less fortunate than us.

Preschoolers created a craft that symbolized the food bags that our CNX Youth members will be distributing soon.  Each craft had pictures of actual items that we will be collecting.

Elementary kids worked hard to prepare almost 400 bags!

In upper Elementary School
CNX Kids learned: ”God’s Love carries us through Storms!”

Today in CNX Kids, kids learned that we should trust God, even through the storm.  Pauls faith was seen by those on board the ship to the point that they knew to follow his words even when the storm was at its worst.  When the storm is strong, we can trust that Gods love will bring us through.
