This week In Preschool
CNX Kids learned: Love Is Not Angry!
This Sunday, Crew Chief Carl and his pal Sparky taught us that Love is Not Angry! They showed us how Paul did not get angry when others were mean to him in Acts 21:17-22. Even though the people had hurt him, Paul did not get angry. He showed LOVE to the people by telling them that Jesus is Gods Son! When we control our anger, we are showing LOVE to others! Even if someone does something unkind to us, we remember that: Love Is Not Angry!

In Elementary School
CNX Kids learned: Love Is Not Happy With Evil!”
Today in CNX Kids, off-road racing extraordinaire Eugene Euclid Eubanks told us the story of when Paul meets Jesus in Acts 9. In this Bible story, Paul was being evil by trying to hurt people who loved Jesus.  Since Jesus loved Paul and the people he was trying to hurt, Jesus wasnt happy that Paul was being evil.  Even though Jesus was not happy with the evil Paul was doing, Jesus still loved him and wanted to become his friend. Jesus loves everyone and thats why He is not happy with evil! Because Jesus loves us, He is not happy when others are evil to us or when we are evil to others! If we want to show love like Jesus, we should not be happy with evil either!

It does not easily become angry. It does not keep track of other peoples wrongs. Love is not happy with evil. But it is full of joy when truth is spoken. It always protects. It always trusts. This week In Preschool
CNX Kids learned: Be Kind To Others!”
This Sunday Crew Chief Carl told us the story of Jesus putting back an ear: Jesus went out by himself to pray. He knew that it was almost time for Him to die on a cross. He prayed and asked God to help Him. As Jesus finished praying, an angry group of people showed up. They wanted to arrest Jesus and take Him away. This made Jesus friend Peter so mad! Peter wanted to protect Jesus from these angry men. So he pulled out his sword and cut off one of their ears!
Well, Jesus didnt want Peter to do that. Jesus wanted Peter to be kind to otherseven if they hurt you. So, Jesus said, “No more of this! Jesus touched the servants hurt ear and healed him.  By doing this, Jesus taught Peter to BE KIND TO OTHERS!

In Elementary School
CNX Kids learned: Love Is Not Rude!”
Today in CNX Kids, we met expert dirt bike racer Whitney Wheeler and learned how Jesus showed love by not being rude when he was arrested (Matthew 26:44-66; 27:11-31).  The Bible teaches us that Jesus let so many people be rude to Him because He was taking the punishment for the wrong things we do. In this story, He showed us how to love people when they are rude, but if someone is hurting us, Jesus wants us to ALWAYS ask for help. No matter what, we can love people like Jesus did by not being rude.
When we love others the way Jesus loves them, we are not rude to them!
